Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in Philadelphia metro area
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, including daily inspections and documentation
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided GPS technology
- Build client relationships through professional communication and on-time performance
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (2008 or newer, under 300k miles)
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS tracking
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check
