Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently on dedicated Philadelphia metro routes
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal load planning
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction standards
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize provided telematics for real-time tracking and performance reporting
- Build relationships with warehouse and retail partners in the region
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Smartphone proficiency for mobile app communication
- Reliable personal box truck (26ft max) with current inspection
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
