Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage daily route planning and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and fuel savings
- Uphold company safety standards and DOT compliance
- Build client relationships through professional service delivery
- Track and report operational metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
