Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26' Box Truck for local and regional deliveries within California.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and status updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required; Class A with Box Truck experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean MVR driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading and unloading.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
