Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate and maneuver the box truck to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is road-ready.
- Cargo Security: Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and comply with safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and delivery status updates.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to resolve any delivery issues promptly.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a US citizen or hold a valid Green Card.
- License: Possess a valid Class A or B CDL (if required by the vehicle) or a valid driver's license.
- Experience: No prior driving experience required (we welcome new drivers with the right attitude).
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to read a map or use GPS navigation.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
- Vehicle: Must own or have access to a reliable, licensed box truck.
