Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for regional freight delivery within North Carolina
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate delivery status with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Manage vehicle expenses and submit compliant reimbursement requests
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must own/lease a 24-26ft box truck (2010+ model preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- No experience required - comprehensive training provided
