Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain timely pickup/delivery schedules
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency
- Manage freight loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (or equivalent state license)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Personal DOT-compliant box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Smartphone with reliable data access
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds occasionally
