Responsibilities
- Operate a 24-26 ft box truck for local Minneapolis/St. Paul deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery while maintaining professional customer interactions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize route efficiency to maximize daily mileage and minimize idle time
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Manage cargo loading/unloading procedures safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of active commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck (2008 or newer, under 200k miles)
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Smartphone with reliable data for GPS and communication
