Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently across Tennessee and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal load routing
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Owned box truck (26+ ft) in excellent mechanical condition
- Proven experience in regional freight transportation
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
