Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight transport
- Plan optimal routes to maximize delivery efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Proof of cargo insurance ($100k+ coverage)
- Reliable box truck (26' or smaller) in good condition
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro area geography
