Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided Class A tractor-trailer units for dedicated OTR routes between San Diego and major Western US hubs
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight while maintaining meticulous delivery documentation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Utilize GPS and telematics systems for efficient route planning and real-time communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve route challenges
- Uphold strict safety standards and participate in monthly safety training programs
- Represent Pacific Logistics Group with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience with dedicated routes
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills for independent route decisions
- Willingness to operate within a 3-state regional network (CA, AZ, NV)
