Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Verify freight manifests and ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed.
- Drive the box truck along designated routes to deliver goods on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for entry-level training.
- Current, clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills for logging hours and checking load assignments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
