Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently from pickup points to delivery destinations in Toledo and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety compliance.
- Observe all traffic laws and company safety protocols to maintain a perfect driving record.
- Handle loading and unloading of freight with care, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including delivery receipts and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Own and maintain a reliable Box Truck (Class A or B CDL not strictly required if you own the truck, but a clean CDL is preferred).
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) if applicable.
- Current DOT medical card and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Ability to lift and move freight up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
