Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload freight with care to prevent damage or theft.
- Inspect the vehicle daily for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean professional image and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Must own a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must have current cargo insurance and liability insurance.
- Minimum 1 year of box truck or flatbed driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Reliable personal vehicle for getting to and from the terminal.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
