Responsibilities
- Safely operate your box truck to deliver freight to designated locations on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper securing.
- Manage all necessary delivery documentation, including Bills of Lading.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab at all times.
- Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Qualifications
- Must own a Class B or Class C Box Truck (GVW 26,001 - 33,000 lbs).
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B (or Class C with endorsements) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor.
