Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to designated delivery locations in Atlanta and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the protection of goods during transit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation and electronic logs accurately and on time.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Must own a licensed and insured box truck (GVW 26,000 lbs or less).
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B is preferred but not strictly required.
- Achieve and maintain a clean driving record (MVR).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
