Responsibilities
- Operate 26ft Box Trucks to deliver freight safely and on time within the Indianapolis region and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Secure cargo using proper strapping and tie-down techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional truck interior and exterior.
- Interact professionally with customers during loading and unloading processes.
- Accurately log hours of service (HOS) and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must own and maintain a reliable 26ft Box Truck or equivalent.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) is required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor during loading/unloading.
- Experience with logistics software or electronic logging devices (ELD) is a plus.
