Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial box truck to deliver freight to customers within El Paso and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and documentation of all freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proof of ownership of a 26ft Box Truck or ability to obtain lease.
- Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) free of major violations.
- Comprehensive commercial auto insurance coverage.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and handle long hours on the road.
- Proficient in GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
- Must pass a background check.
