Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and GPS tracking compliance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided dispatch tools
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Box truck operation expertise (24-26ft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and New England geography
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps and e-logs
- Reliable personal vehicle for pre/post-trip inspections
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card
- Proven on-time delivery performance history
