Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26'+) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes for on-time performance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Maintain professional customer interaction during deliveries
- Submit digital logs and delivery confirmations daily
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Reliable 26'+ box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background/drug screening (paid by employer)
- Knowledge of Boston metro area navigation
