Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently across the Minneapolis metro area and regional routes
- Manage daily delivery schedules, ensuring on-time performance and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations, including logbooks and inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal load routing and turnaround efficiency
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service delivery
- Optimize route planning to maximize fuel efficiency and minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (2010+ model, under 200k miles) in good mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with basic business management skills
