Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Plan efficient routes using provided logistics software
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and mileage logs
- Perform daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatchers for load assignments and updates
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer) with proper insurance
- Basic knowledge of logistics software (e.g., Omnitracs, Samsara)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
