Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route planning and delivery schedules autonomously
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional service
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and on-time delivery
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable personal box truck (26+ ft) with current registration
- DOT medical certification
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Smartphone with GPS and data capability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
