Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within 300-mile radius
- Manage loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance coordination
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using provided GPS tools
- Communicate directly with clients for delivery confirmations
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years driving history)
- Proof of current box truck ownership or lease agreement
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch apps
- DOT medical certification current
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Local Reno area residency preferred
