Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Manage route planning and delivery scheduling with full autonomy
- Maintain clean DOT-compliant vehicle and required documentation
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment/manning
- Communicate delivery status via mobile app in real-time
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in 3 years
- Reliable box truck (2007 or newer) under 26ft
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and customer service skills
