Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely for local/regional deliveries within Ohio and surrounding states
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize routes to meet delivery deadlines while maximizing efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar commercial vehicle experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management skills with self-directed work ethic
- DOT medical certification and compliance with all FMCSA regulations
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
