Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own box truck for local and regional deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M+)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good mechanical condition
- Smartphone with reliable data connection for dispatch apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
