Responsibilities
- Transport freight using company-provided box trucks within Ohio and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar freight experience
- DOT medical certification and current physical card
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Cincinnati metro area and Ohio roadways
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proof of general liability insurance ($1M minimum)
