Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided 24-26ft box trucks for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely delivery within service windows
- Represent Northwest Logistics Partners with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area geography
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Independent contractor mindset and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
