Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box trucks for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients and dispatch team
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Proactively communicate delivery status and exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data plan
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation
