Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight using company-provided box trucks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Represent Pacific Northwest Transport professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and Pacific Northwest
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Independent contractor status required
