Responsibilities
- Operate your own box truck for regional deliveries within Texas and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch team via remote communication for efficient route planning
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery performance
- Manage fuel expenses and submit timely reimbursement documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience with verifiable references
- Reliable box truck (26ft+) in good mechanical condition
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge for expense tracking
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
