Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining excellent customer service
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ( liability & cargo)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication skills
