Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on local/regional routes
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal load assignments
- Maintain DOT compliance (logs, inspections, documentation)
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Manage truck maintenance schedules and expenses
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Submit accurate weekly invoices and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (26+ ft) in good mechanical condition
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Basic accounting knowledge for expense tracking
- Strong time management and customer service skills
