Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a 26' Box Truck to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage.
- Manage all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs.
- Maintain the cleanliness, maintenance, and mechanical condition of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must Own: A 26' Box Truck (or larger) and necessary equipment.
- License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class B) required.
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or serious moving violations.
- Experience: Proven track record in local and regional freight hauling.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation tools.
- Availability: Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible hours.
