Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries
- Communicate with dispatch team for load updates
- Manage freight handling and securement protocols
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2005+ model, under 200k miles)
- Smartphone with GPS and data plan
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Strong customer service communication skills
