Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in the Stockton metro area
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and compliance documentation
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery efficiency
- Build strong relationships with clients at delivery points
- Ensure freight security and proper handling protocols
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (MVR review required)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or heavy truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer) meeting DOT specifications
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Familiarity with Stockton area and surrounding regions
