Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-53') for regional and long-haul freight
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage customer relationships during delivery processes
- Optimize routes to maximize on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2008 or newer, under 300k miles)
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
