Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage logistics including route optimization and documentation
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling
- Track inventory and handle specialized freight requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification and clean background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Smartphone proficiency for digital logging
- Must own or lease compliant box truck
