Responsibilities
- Safe operation of 24-26ft box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain DOT compliance, daily logs, and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize digital dispatch tools for real-time tracking and communication
- Submit accurate mileage and expense reports weekly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in good mechanical condition
- Basic understanding of freight logistics and delivery protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch apps
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Pass background check and drug screening
