Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight across Anchorage and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Uphold strict safety compliance and DOT regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft+) in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Familiarity with Anchorage terrain and winter driving
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data access
