Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Washington State
- Plan optimal routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years verifiable box truck driving experience
- Knowledge of Seattle metro area and Washington State highways
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
