Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for load planning and scheduling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck (2005 or newer) with proper insurance
- Strong knowledge of Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
