Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for time-sensitive deliveries across Orange County and surrounding areas
- Optimize daily routes using our GPS-enabled dispatch system for maximum efficiency
- Maintain comprehensive vehicle logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with clients and dispatch teams via remote communication tools
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and business operations remotely
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Relatively new or well-maintained box truck (24-26ft preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and remote communication skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Commercial auto insurance with $1M liability coverage
- Smartphone proficiency for mobile dispatch apps
