Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck (26ft+) for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Inspect vehicle pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with warehouse personnel
- Report maintenance needs and schedule timely repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M+)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Buffalo metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Reliable smartphone with data plan
- Entrepreneurial mindset and time management skills
