Responsibilities
- Operate box truck (24-26ft) for regional freight delivery throughout Louisiana
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Manage freight documentation and proof of delivery
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- DOT medical certification and current physical
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication and e-logs
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly
- Commercial auto insurance with $1M liability coverage
