Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries following DOT regulations
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and paperwork compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal routing and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck driving experience
- Reliable and insured personal box truck (or willingness to lease)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
