Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for regional deliveries in Lincoln and surrounding areas
- Manage logistics planning, including route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and troubleshooting
- Manage vehicle maintenance and ensure optimal operating condition
- Uphold safety standards and company service protocols
- Track expenses and maintain financial records for tax purposes
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Lincoln, NE area and surrounding regions
- Proven ability to manage independent business operations
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability minimum)
