Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Optimize routes to maximize on-time delivery rates
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load scheduling
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch apps
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proof of commercial auto insurance
