Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for timely local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and fuel savings
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments
- Represent company professionally with all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience in urban environments
- Proven ability to manage schedules and meet delivery deadlines
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable personal box truck (2015 or newer, under 200k miles)
- Commercial insurance with $1M liability coverage
